Prior to that, Mr Lew was CEO Group Digital Life where he has transformed the Group into a leading player in the digital ecosystem. He was also Country Chief Officer Singapore, acting as the principal liaison with local and regulatory bodies.
He began his career with the Singtel Group in November 1980 and has served in various senior management positions both in Singapore and overseas. His first overseas posting was to Advanced Info Service Public Company Ltd (AIS), Singtel’s regional mobile associate. He was the Chief Operating Officer of AIS for three years before his posting to Optus in late 2001, initially as the Managing Director of Optus Mobile and later as Managing Director of Optus Consumer Business. He returned to Singapore as CEO Singapore in 2006 and held that position until March 2012.
Mr Lew is the Chairman of the AIS Executive Committee and a Board member of the Energy Market Authority in Singapore.
He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Australia under a Colombo Plan Scholarship and a Master of Science (Management) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US.
Sue Bailey is the Vice President, Future of Yes. She is responsible for Program Spring, a three year program that will see Optus consolidate and streamline billing and customer care systems to simplify products and processes for customers and staff alike.
From February 2014 to March 2015, Sue was responsible for Optus fixed phone and broadband services, including the National Broadband Network, for Consumer and Small and Medium Business customers.
Sue has extensive experience within the telecommunications industry with over 20 years' working across mobile, brand and marketing. She began her career in telecommunications in customer service before working in a variety of positions at Telstra, including strategic marketing, product management, advertising and operational roles.
Sue has held a number of roles with Virgin Mobile in Australia and USA, ranging from Product Marketing Director to CEO for Virgin Mobile Australia. Her time in the role of CEO, from 2010 until 2013, included the internationally successful campaign fronted by Doug Pitt. The campaign received several awards including three silver Cannes Lions.
Sue holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing with Distinction, from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Vicki Brady is the Managing Director of Optus' Marketing and Product division. This division brings together mobile and fixed products, entertainment, brand and marketing and the Optus wholly-owned brands Virgin Mobile and Vivid Wireless. Key to this portfolio is Optus' product development and leading the go-to-market execution.
Prior to this role, in 2012, Vicki was appointed as the Managing Director of Optus' Customer Division. In this role she was responsible for all aspects of our customer's relationship with Optus and focused on driving the transformation of the end to end experience of our customers.
From 2008 to 2012 Vicki was the Managing Director of Optus Wholesale and Satellite where she led the sales, marketing, operational and commercial functions of this division.
Vicki has over 16 years' experience in the telecommunication industry. Vicki joined Optus in 1997, and held various senior positions in Marketing, Sales and Commercial for Optus Mobile before moving to Singtel in 2003 as Vice President of Consumer Marketing. In this role she was responsible all aspects of marketing including product strategy, customer relationship management, marketing communications, customer knowledge and customer devices.
Her tenure has many notable achievements, two of which include Singtel becoming the leader in the prepaid mobile business and cementing Singtel as the leading telco in the region with the successful launch of Mio - a quadruple play of fixed line telephony, mobile and broadband and IPTV.
David Epstein is Vice President, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs and manages legal, corporate communications, government and regulatory functions.
Educated at The ANU and Wharton (UPenn), David is an experienced corporate affairs executive with a background in regulatory and public affairs, both internationally and in Australia.
David's career spans public and private sectors, including BHP Billiton, Qantas and as a senior ministerial adviser to three Prime Ministers, culminating as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister.
He is a member of the Board of Opera Australia, the European Australian Business Council and the Australian Advisory Board of The Asia Society, as well as a Councillor of Creative Partnerships Australia.
Rohan Ganeson is the Managing Director of Customer at Optus, leading the company's customer acquisition, customer service and customer experience across digital, retail, field and contact centre operations serving over 9 million consumers.
Rohan joined Optus as the Managing Director of Small to Medium Business. Under his leadership this business saw significant increase in company profile and market share in the SMB segment. Most recently he was the Managing Director of Sales accountable for the transformation of Optus' digital, retail and business operations to deliver strong service and sales growth.
Before joining Optus, Rohan spent more than 20 years in executive roles within the telecommunications and technology sectors, with companies like 3, Hewlett-Packard Co. and Keycorp Ltd. His passion for innovation and entrepreneurship has played an integral part in the development of his career. Before joining the corporate world, he spent several years building and growing tech start-ups. His passion for innovation continues today with his involvement with digital start-ups in Silicon Valley.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from UWA, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and Executive Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Murray King is Chief Financial Officer Group Consumer. In this role Murray is responsible for the financial affairs of the Australian operation as well as Singtel's Group Consumer division which operates across Australia, Asia Pacific and Africa. His responsibilities include corporate finance, procurement, taxation, treasury, risk management and investor relations.
Murray joined Optus in 2003 and has held the key positions of Chief Financial Officer (2009 - present), Deputy Chief Financial Officer (2007 - 2009), Commercial Director Consumer (2005 - 2007) and Commercial Director Mobile (2003 - 2005).
Responsibilities in these roles included financial management of the largest Optus customer facing units, statutory and regulatory reporting, credit functions and driving the Optus annual operating plan.
Before joining Optus, Murray worked at Virgin Mobile where he held the position of Finance Director and Acting Joint Managing Director. In these roles he was responsible for the financial and operational performance of the company which encapsulated the customer service and IT functions. Prior to working at Virgin Mobile, Murray held the position of Chief Financial Officer for technology companies Mincom Limited and Voxson Limited.
Murray's extensive accounting, finance and audit experience was founded in global firms Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. Murray holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Queensland University and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Paul O'Sullivan was appointed Chairman, Optus on 7 October 2014.
This role will draw on Paul's extensive experience with the Government, media and business community, to advocate for Optus and drive for competition in the Australian Telco Market.
Paul was previously CEO of Singtel Group Consumer from 2012 - 2014, where he was responsible for Singtel's Consumer businesses including the wholly owned operations in Singapore and Australia, as well as Singtel's investments in Thailand, India, Africa, Philippines and Indonesia.
Paul was CEO of Optus from September 2004 to March 2012 during which time Optus experienced strong growth including 18 quarters in a row of EBITDA growth and 7 consecutive half years of mobile revenue share gain.
Paul previously held senior positions within Optus including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Optus Mobile. He has also worked in various international management roles at the Colonial Group and the Royal Dutch Shell Group in Canada, the Middle East, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Paul serves on the Board of Commissioners of Telkomsel - Indonesia's largest mobile communications company and is a former Board Director of Bharti Airtel: India's mobile market leader.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Mod) Economics from Trinity College, University of Dublin and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard University, USA.
As the Managing Director of Optus Business, John Paitaridis leads Optus' enterprise, business and government organisation. With 25 years' industry experience, he is accountable for all aspects of sales, marketing, products, operations and service delivery.
Optus Business brings together the capabilities of Optus, Alphawest, Uecomm and Ensyst to deliver whole-of-business ICT solutions to the enterprise market.
Optus Business is also part of the Singtel Group Enterprise division, which provides innovative ICT solutions to the Group's enterprise customers across multiple geographies.
John joined Optus Business in 2012, bringing a deep understanding of the telecommunications and ICT needs of enterprise and government customers. Previously, he was Executive Director at Telstra.
John has extensive experience managing businesses in international markets including almost 10 years based in Europe and Asia. A seasoned senior executive, John has a strong track record of driving growth in sales, revenue and profitability as well as building high performance teams.
John holds a Bachelor of Economics degree and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2012, he was appointed as a member of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) National Board of Directors and in 2014 was appointed Deputy Chair of the Association.
Rob Parcell is the Managing Director of Optus Wholesale, Satellite and Small and Medium Business. Since April 2012, Rob has been managing all functions of the Optus Wholesale and Satellite division including sales, marketing, operations and commerce. He has since assumed additional responsibility for small business which streamlines all business-to-business activity under the same division.
Since joining Optus in 1992, Rob Parcell has held many senior roles across the company within operational, sales and marketing management. As the Acting Managing Director of Optus Business from 2010 to 2012, he led all Optus enterprise business segments from corporate through to government customers.
Prior to this, Rob held the position of Chief Executive Officer, Alphawest where he managed all of Alphawest's business including sales, operations and delivery. Alphawest, which Optus acquired in 2005, has experienced significant growth since its integration with Optus and is now one of the top ten IT services companies in Australia.
Before joining Alphawest as CEO, Rob held the position of Director of the Southern Region with Optus from 2004 to 2008. In this role, Rob led Optus' Southern operations focusing on all aspects of the IT&T needs for Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania - with particular attention given to the corporate and Government sectors.
His immediate previous role was Director, Voice & Data Marketing, which saw Rob develop and maintain product capabilities for the corporate business market. Part of this role was to plan for the future of Optus Business - developing the business unit's 'last mile' access strategy, and voice, data, Internet Protocol and e-solutions portfolios.
Rob began his career at AUSSAT, where he worked in various technical roles - designing and implementing communications networks via satellite.
Vaughan Paul is the Vice President, Human Resources (HR) for Optus. Vaughan is responsible for leading the HR function, including the development and delivery of the people strategy. He has held this role since 2009.
Vaughan joined Optus in November 2005 as General Manager HR for Optus Business where his responsibilities included leading staff delivering to Corporate, Government and Business customers.
In his (almost) nine years with the Singtel Group and Optus, Vaughan has successfully driven change across a range of HR functions including career development, talent and leadership programs and staff engagement in Australia and across the Region.
Prior to Optus, Vaughan worked in a range of senior HR roles with Computer Sciences Corporation Australia including HR Director of Global Infrastructure Services, Director of Human Resources - New Business and Head of Human Resources, Business Banking for Westpac.
Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
