Jaimie has advised small businesses for over ten years in the areas of employment, intellectual property, commercial and corporate law. Jaimie completed her combined Law and Communications Degree whilst working for an innovative law firm that worked closely with CEOs of high growth businesses in sales, marketing, advertising, media and technology. It was here that Jaimie developed a passion for helping small businesses.
In 2013, Jaimie joined Employsure as an Adviser, providing workplace relations advice to small business clients from a wide range of industries. After eight months with Employsure, Jaimie was promoted to Senior Adviser, acting as mentor to other members within the advice team and advising on more complex matters.
Jaimie progressed to a Team Leader role shortly after, managing a team of up to 10 advisers, and was selected to participate in an exchange programme in the UK with Peninsula Business Services. Jaimie is currently managing the Claims team within Employsure, ensuring that our clients are fairly represented in employment claims, such as unfair dismissal, general protections, bullying, underpayment and discrimination claims.
Louise has a very diverse and skilled background, which stems from a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University. Following graduation, Louise’s frontline experience was gleaned from working with unions and the public and legal sectors, where she specialised in industrial relations and work health and safety.
Prior to joining Employsure, Louise was an Adviser to Federal Government ministers, where she specialised in Status of Women policy and also worked as a Chief of Staff. As a public servant, Louise worked on the harmonisation of work health and safety laws and workplace relations policy implementation.
In June 2014, Louise joined Employsure as an Employment Relations Consultant where, with her exceptional knowledge, she embraced her enthusiasm for ensuring fair and safe workplaces, while assisting employers to reach practical and commercial solutions every day. Since Louise joined Employsure, she has gone above and beyond to assist our client and as a result, was promoted to Team Leader in November 2015.
Lucas has been working with business owners for over 10 years, with a particular focus on workplace relations since 2014.
One story that stands out in Lucas’ Employsure career is about a couple with a young family operating a transport business with just two employees. They joined Employsure for help with their contracts, policies and the support of our advice team to help grow their business. Later it turned out those two employees had been stealing the old white goods exchanged on delivery and selling them for cash. The owners’ words were "Being able to have Employsure assist us right from the start took all the uncertainty away and let us do what we do best, and not stress about that issue at all".
Having owned a small business himself, Lucas fully appreciates the challenges that often test business owners. It is immensely rewarding to hear clients state they now have confidence and peace of mind managing their work health and safety, and Fair Work obligations.
Suzanne has over ten years’ experience in the field of Employee Relations.
Originating from the UK, Suzanne graduated from Hull University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. From here, she spent time working in Manchester and London and soon found she had a passion for human resources.
Specialising in the retail sector, Suzanne’s frontline experience was gleaned from working for Marks and Spencer, Swarovski and the luxury department store Selfridges. In these roles Suzanne proved her ability to successfully navigate and resolve complex employment matters.
After relocating to Australia in 2013, Suzanne joined Employsure as an Employment Relations Adviser. Her dedication to assisting clients resulted in her being promoted to Senior Adviser just over a year later. Following graduation from Employsure’s first Team Leader training programme, Suzanne was promoted to the role of Team Leader in March 2015.
Suzanne is passionate about coaching her team and championing the Employsure value of Client is King across the business.
